Hi Everyone
With May Days close on the horizon, there is lots going
on and KORTS will be hosting a May Days information booth at Vimy Park
for the weekend. Everyone is busy and so our next work party will be
after the May long weekend.
If you would like to be involved in the KORTS booth at May Days, please contact Francois Blouin for a volunteer time slot.
We are also planning a BC Trails Day event for Saturday June 1 and will be looking for volunteers.
A few tasks need to be done before the long weekend if you have time and would like to volunteer:

weed whack the Hwy 31A trailhead area including the picnic table
viewpoint and the lower picnic table area along with the trail leading
to the lower picnic table area
- weed whack the Higashi Way trailhead and the Kaslo Family Mountain Bike Park downhill connector trail
-
weed whack the upper Lettrari Loop trail section alongside the airstrip
including the section leading from the transfer station road to the
downhill trail.
KORTS can provide a string weed
whacker, fuel, and safety gear. Please contact Stu or Dave directly by
