Land Acknowledgement
KORTS acknowledges that we work, live and play in a shared landscape. We would like to acknowledge that the unceded lands through which these trails travel are home to Indigenous communities, past, present and future. As trail users, we have a responsibility to maintain trails in relationship with the land. It is with gratitude and respect for those that came before us, and those that will come after us, that we continue to care for these shared spaces. We are striving to work with Indigenous communities to honor the land, its historical use, and ensure future enjoyment and stewardship.
