Hi Everyone
Our next KORTS trails work party is this Wednesday April 24 starting at 9am. Our project is to level some sections of the Kaslo River South trail where it has been slumping over the past couple of years. This project will be hand work using polaskis and rakes to dig out the upper slope and move it downslope to create a more level trail tread. This is especially important for winter use but also easier walking / biking for summer use as well.
We wil meet at the Kaslo River South Trailhead, just behind the Kaslo Village Shop. We will pick up tools from the KORTS shed there and walk in along the river trail.
