KORTS is hosting a BC Trails Event day this Sunday which is replacing our regular Monday work party for May 29. Therefore, our next regular work party day will be Monday June 5 9am to noon.
We will be heading up the Wardner Viewpoint trail to work on levelling several out-sloping sections of the trail tread, upgrade some eroded switchbacks, repair the small viewpoint bench and then stain the 2 benches. If time permits, or possibly the following week, we will continue above the viewpoint onto the connector to No Brakes, levelling the steps and out-sloping trail tread, brushing and upgrading an overgrown section of the connector trail, and re-installing a directional sign that fell over this winter. I will be sending out a reminder closer to June 5 about meeting location, tools etc.
