I groomed the main track this afternoon . I did not do the dog track as it is to thin near the Kaslo end.
The conditions on the main track are better than I expected , but with the spring melt it is getting to soft on the sides to do a double track the whole way.
The best time to go out if you do is exactly like today - warm , but cloudy so the track speed is more uniform, I would rate it as good to very good spring conditions.
The double track ends part way up the steep hill , as I slid a little over the side , and the side of the track is chewed up.Be aware of this area when coming down
