As part of the KORTS Partnership Agreement with Rec Sites & Trails BC we annually brush and clear the 2km Mt Buchanan summit loop trail. This will be our work party initiative for Monday July 3. KORTS will provide 2 brush saws and 2 chain saws so looking for operators of those units, as well as swampers to toss cuts off the trail. Hand loppers may be useful to have along as well.
Departure 8:30am with high clearance vehicle required / 4WD preferred. Car pooling preferred so let’s meet at The Kaslo Village office / library parking area. Monday is a holiday so the parking area there should be not too crowded. Happy Trails Stu
